Angelo M Picardo
is here with his BIG 1/16th Tiger 1.
This particular Tiger 1 started life as an RC toy and was redone and
super detailed by Angelo using all scratchbuilt pieces to represent
a Tiger 1 as it may have appeared during the battle of Kursk.
Angelo added battle damage to the armour and gave his Tiger 1 a full
weathering job. The RC parts still function much to his cats
dismay and the gun even fires BB's........gotta' love
that. Thanks for sharing Angelo.....your Tiger 1
started my day with a big grin.

models. These are his 1/35 Tamiya Sherman & Tamiya Pazner IV.
These are 2 of Toms early models and both of them turned out
looking excellent and I particularly like the look of the camo on
the Panzer IV.

get things started today in style with his big and mean
looking 1/35 Tamiya Jagdtiger VI SDKFZ 186 ausf A.
Serge built this gem way back in 1974......wow.....I'm impressed by
that when I consider the damage I was doing to models back in
1974. It's always a treat seeing Serge's models on
ARC......his work inspires many people I'm sure.

is here with another piece of British armour. This is his 1/76
Revell/CMSC Warrior ARRV.
Stevie used the Revell kit chassis and the CMSC conversion set
containing new hull and relevant equipment and then finished it off
as an UNPROFOR vehicle from Bosnia.

Lawrence Aphoy
has done a stunning job on his 1/35 Trumpeter M1A1 Abrams w/mine plow.
Lawrence has included pics of his Abrams in a eye popping street
scene diorama he created. Wow enjoy the photos. This one
looks more realistic than the real tank. Amazing work
Lawrence.

Larry Eckard
has captured the look of the Stryker very well with his 1/35 AFV
Club Stryker. Larry elevated the gun to show what this
vehicle can do and then he finished it off with weathering and dry
brushing to better show of the wonderful detail on his model and
give it a more realistic look.

David Walker has
super detail his 1/35 Tamiya King Tiger with a combination of
aftermarket items and scratchbuilt parts. David added a metal
gun barrel and individual metal track links and Zimmerit.
Finer details such as wires and cables and hatch handles were done
with different sized wire and fine solder. He then weathered
his King Tiger with washes and chalks to get the look just
right. Very nicely done indeed. |

gets things started today in style with his big menacing 1/35
Tamiya Jadgpanther.
Douglas did an expert job getting the Ardennes/Winter camo
looking just right....wow this monster looks great. Beautiful

David Hawkins
has been working long hours adding detail and gear to every area of
his 1/35 Tamiya M1036 Tow HUMVEE. David did a large
amount of scratchbuilt detailing and then added extra gear to all
areas of his Desert Storm HUMVEE and then followed all that up with
dusty desert weathering. The finished model looks very
realistic and the amount of gear and detail really has to be seen to
be appreciated....enjoy the photos.

1/35 Dragon IS2 tank & Tamiya Russian Tankers

Filippis has been busy getting everything looking just right on
his 1/35 Tamiya Tiger I "Late Version".
Arthur found an easy way to add Zimmermit to his Tiger by using
a product from Cavalier Productions. Once painted, he used MIG
weathering powders to complete the weathering and give his tank a
very realistic looking dirty look. |

Murray joins us today with his great looking 1/76 CMSC
Sultan ACV. This piece of British armour is wearing the
markings from it's mission when it was an UNPROFOR vehicle.
Stevie gave it a full weathering job to resemble a command vehicle
on the field. It's cool to see one of these......I've never
seen this type of vehicle before.

has done a stellar job improving the 1/35 Italeri M-24
Chaffee.
Angelo used individual track links from Friul Modellismo and
removed the side plate to show off those wonderful track
links. He also upgraded the machine guns and gave it a proper
and very realistic weathering job. The result is a model that
does justice to the Chaffee.

to tell the story. The weathering is flawless and I noticed

desert environment. I love the way it looks.

is here with something very special today. This is Austin's
1/72 Trumpeter M1126 Stryker
all decked out with slat armor from Eduard. Austin did a
stunning job getting the slat armour looking perfect and then he
dressed up with Stryker with perfect looking camo and weathering and
as a icing on the cake he has displayed it in a scene from the
battle zone with figures. Wow I love how this diorama looks.

on ARC Armor. This is Charlie's 1/35 Dragon Jagdpanther
(early type).
Charlie added a Zimmerit coating to the hull with
"Elmer's" wood filler. The tracks are all individual track
segments which gives excellent results as you will see in his
photos. This is a fantastic looking Jagdpanther. |
