amazing and realistic looking 1/35 Tamiya Mutt 151 A2.
Dairo built his model out of the box and then added additional
detail items and then gave it a full weathering job using a variety
of techniques which he explains in his article. Beautiful work

Shalom Yair
joins us from sunny Israel with his 1/35 Academy M163A1/ Vulcan
SPAAG. This is an Israeli APC and Shalom added extra gear
to the outside for added realism. I do like the look of this
model and it is a very interesting anti aircraft gun that uses the
20mm Vulcan gun mounted on a modified M113 APC vehicle that
fires over 1,000 rounds per minute. |

is here with a very delicate looking 1/72 ZZ Models P-35 radar.
This model kit includes photo etch parts and looks very
complicated as a completed model. Sebastijan includes the

Serge added to the exterior of his Staghound and then finished
it as a Canadian Staghound at Blankenberge Belgium in Sept 1944.
I love the models Serge builds.

gets your Friday update started with his impressive looking 1/72 Dragon M1A1 Abrams.
Charles chose to build his M1A1 Abrams in the woodland
camouflage from the Operation Iraqi Freedom time period.
Charles also gave it a dusting of Iraqi sand/dust for that authentic
look. The M1A1 Abrams is an impressive machine and Charles
captured to the look of it very well.

joins us with a most impressive model of the 1/72 Hasegawa K5
railway gun used by Germany during WW2. These railway guns
could not fire sideways, so there were a variety of techniques used
to aim the gun. olri1 did gave this model a very
realistic paint job. |

Rob Haelterman
starts today
off with one of the smallest Kettenkrads I've ever seen.
This is his tiny 1/144 Trumpeter Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkraftrad which
was included with his Me 262 kit. It is full of detail and Rob
enhanced that detail with his own work on this tiny little
gem. It really is quite the well detailed tiny little model
and once painted by Rob it turned out looking excellent. |

is here with his very realistic looking 1/72 Italeri Matilda Mk
II
in a diorama from the Tobruk desert. El Rey has added to the
scene with a Panzer IV turret laying on
the ground, but what really brings the scene to life is the
weathering done to his Matilda tank........it really has that dry
dusty look to it that is common of all tanks in a desert enviroment.

Jeff Brundt
is here with one of the best looking and most impressive German
tanks from WW2. this is his 1/35 Tamiya King Tiger
w/Porsche wearing winter camo. Jeff tells the fascinating
history of this tank that proved to be the most formidable tank the
Allies had to face during WW2. His article is a great read and
his King Tiger is an awesome model.....enjoy the photos.

has done an exceptionally fine job on his 1/35 Trumpeter LAV 25.
Greg built it out of the box and then completed the scene with

Maurizio displayed his Italian tank on a desert diorama as it would

John Doerr
is here with a very special Bradley. This is his 1/72 Dragon M2A3 " Baghdad
Bradley" which is the an exact replica of the Bradley his
son was a trooper in. John used the Dragon M2A3 with the
interior, suitably modified, from a M2A2 kit. The finished
model shows an astounding attention to detail, which I think
accurately show John love and admiration for his son. I was
pleased to read John's son returned home safe and sound. It's
an astounding build John.

Carlos
Herrera joins us from Monterrey, N.L., México with his filly
loaded 1/35 Tamiya M1a2 Abrams. Carlos built the tank
OOB then loaded the top with all the gear and supplies often found
on the Abrams during operations. He also gave it a very well
done weathering job to make it look like the full sized tank.

B". Amos chose to build his Scud as one of the launch vehicles used
20 years ago during the Gulf War to launch Scuds against

This is a Tiger that served on the Eastern Front in 1944.

is here with 2 very neat 1/48 scale WW2 vehicles. These are

1/48 Tamiya British Universal Carrier MkII and Citroen IICV and
I must agree with Bill.....these would be perfect in an aircraft
diorama. Bill managed to build the Citroen IICV in about 2
hours....which is pretty impressive Bill. Both of these little
vehicles turned out looking very nice indeed. |

Curec - aka Chris Cat has spent months building, modifying
and detailing this stunning 1/35 Dragon SdKfz 181 Panzerkampfwagen VI (P).
Christian added Zimmerit and battle damage and fixed quite a few
tiny details to make his Tiger ! more accurate. He also added
scratchbuilt details before finishing it in 3 color camo. This
Tiger 1 looks exactly like the real tank from WW2.....beautiful job Christian. |

here to honor the 70th anniversary of the Great Soviet (Russian)
counter offensive in 1941. This is Rick's 1/35 Tamiya T-34/76...which
was the main battle tank from that time period and Rick built his
T-34 way back in 1983....almost 30 years ago.....hah now you're all
